Junior Dance Levels

A high quality program that offers classes for beginner through intermediate dancers whose interests lie in developing a love for dance in a positive and fun environment. Also, a wonderful form of exercise, strength building, music appreciation, confidence building and so much more! The pace of this program allows the dance student to also pursue other classes/activities such as soccer and school programs.
Dance Techniques
Ballet
A variation of classical dance movements to enhance strength, coordination and body alignment . Recommended for 6 years and older.
Pre-Pointe
A strength and conditioning class to better prepare the ballet dancer for pointe shoes. Recommended for 10 years and older.
Pointe
Ballet performed with toe shoes. Must meet specific requirements in order to participate in this class. Recommended for 11 years and older.
Lyrical
Ballet danced to contemporary music and lyrics. Recommended for 6 years and older.
Jazz
Fast paced dance technique that isolates the body and is performed to contemporary music. Recommended for 6 years and older.
Tap
The creation of rhythm and sound through the isolation of the feet. Recommended for 6 years and older.
Hip Hop
A popular style of Jazz as seen on most music videos. Recommended for 6 years and older.
Acrobatics
Tumbling done on mats. Develops strength, flexibility and coordination. Recommended for 6 years and older.
Musical Theater
A form of dance that incorporates acting and lip sync and enhances the dancers performance capabilities while being introduced to various forms of Broadway music
Technique Classes
Non-recital classes offered to advanced students to enhance technique, strength and coordination.
Levels
JUNIOR I – (6 – 7 yrs old)
Students that have very little or no dance experience. This level is designed for the students who dance for fun and may only take 1 to 2 dance hours per week
INT I – (7- 9 yrs old)
Students that have very little or no dance experience. This level is designed for the students who dance for fun and may only take 1 to 2 dance hours per week.
INT II – (10 – 12 yrs old)
Students that have dance experience and take several hours of dance per week.
